Palestinian media published this evening (Friday) footage from the security cameras of the moments in which Islamic Jihad terrorist Farooq Salama was killed, during an exchange of fire with the security forces in the Jenin refugee camp on Thursday.

Salameh, who was involved, among other things, in the fall of the IDF fighter R.N.G. Noam Raz last May, was killed after an exchange of fire with the security forces acting to arrest wanted persons. Salama was shot during the siege of the building where one of the wanted was staying, by IOSH security forces. Five more wanted persons were arrested in the operation.

Salama is suspected of terrorist activity, and planned to carry out an attack. Following intelligence information from the Shin Bet, the JMS forces entered Jenin in order to arrest him. According to the Palestinians, the terrorist was inside a butcher shop, where he was buying meat for his wedding that was to take place in two days. The forces surprised Salama, who opened fire on them and eliminated on the spot.
