Jailer is a thriller film directed by Zakir Mathil and starring Dhyan Srinivasan in the lead role. The motion poster of the film was released through the social media account of Malayalee’s favorite actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is produced by NK Mohammed under the banner of Golden Village.
The story is presented in the way a jailer tells about an incident that takes place during 1956-57. Dhyan plays a jailer who lives in a bungalow with five hardened criminals and conducts a new experiment on them. Divya Pillai is the heroine of the film. Apart from them, Manoj K Jayan, Sreejith Ravi, Binu Adimali, Unni Raja, Jayaprakash, BK Baiju, Shashankan, Tiju Mathew, Shanthakumari, Ansi Vineesha, child actors Vasudev Sajeesh Marar and Suryadev Sajeesh also act in the film.
The cinematography of the film is by Mahadevan Thambi. Editing done by Deepu Joseph. The film’s music is composed by Riyaz Payoli.
