“She made a serious mistake”: the criticism of Michaeli in the Labor Party is getting stronger

by time news

Member of Knesset Emily Moati (‘Labor’) was interviewed this evening (Saturday) on ‘Meet the Press’ on Channel 12 in the shadow of the defeat in the center-left bloc in the elections, and accused the chairman of the party Merav Michaeli of making a grave mistake by not associating with the Meretz party.

However, she said that she is not calling for Michali to resign and condemned the “culture of head-shaking that existed in the party”.

Muati also called for unification in the center-left bloc: “The system should be two-bloc, like in the United States. If the leadership shows courage and holds a primary, it will be possible to do so, like Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in the same party.”

During the discussion, which was also attended by MK Mossi Raz of Meretz, who like Moati will not be a member of the next Knesset, and MK Merav Ben Ari Mish Atid, Moati agreed that Yesh Atid is expected to lead such a party.
