AHMEDABAD: A poll conducted by a private company has revealed that the BJP will once again take power in the state of Gujarat. BJP has been ruling Gujarat for the last 27 years. Assembly elections will be held in Gujarat in two phases on December 1 and 5. While the political parties are intensifying the election campaign, C-Voter and ABB private companies have released the results of the polls on the Gujarat elections.

Accordingly, the BJP will win 131 to 139 seats in the 182-member Gujarat Assembly. The BJP won 99 seats in the 2017 assembly elections. Congress’ tally of 77 seats in 2017 will go from 31 to 39 this time. Meanwhile Aam Aadmi Party will capture 7 to 15 seats. It has been said that the Aam Aadmi Party did not contest in the same 2017 election.

Gujarat BJP Chief Spokesperson Yamal Vyas said:
We will capture more seats than what was said in the polls,” he said. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party rejected the poll.

Congress spokesperson Amit Naik said:
As per the past experiences, many opinion polls have been wrong. Parties including Aam Aadmi Party have entered the field in Gujarat to divide the anti-government votes. BJP is behind this. This time their strategy will fail. The Aam Aadmi Party functions as the ‘B’ team of the BJP. He said that the Congress party will win 125 seats and take power in Gujarat.
