Mumbai: The Mumbai police have registered a case against her companion Anahita Pandola in connection with the death of former Tata Sons chairman Cyrus Mistry in a car accident. Anahita was driving the car at the time of the accident. Anahita is a well-known gynecologist in Mumbai.

On September 5, the car in which Mistry and his team were traveling met with an accident at Palghar in Maharashtra. Jehangir Pandol, who was a friend and passenger of Mistry, also lost his life in the accident when the car hit the road divider. Anahita and her husband Darius, who were in the car with them, were seriously injured in the accident.

The police stated that the cause of the accident was careless and excessive speeding of the car. That is why a case has been registered against Anahita, the police added. The police registered the case after recording the statement of Anahita’s husband Darius. Darius was discharged from the hospital at the end of last month.

Darius has testified that Anahita was driving the car on the way to Mumbai. A car in front of them had moved from the third lane to the second lane. News agency PTI quoted a police official as saying that Anahita was also following the same pattern. Reported. The police informed that Anahita’s statement is yet to be recorded as she is still recovering.
