The final match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket Tournament took place yesterday at Eden Gardens. Mumbai won the toss and elected to bowl.

Accordingly, the Himachal Pradesh team, who batted first, scored 143 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ekanth Sen scored 37 runs and Akash Vasisht scored 25 runs.

Dhanush Kodiyan and Mohit Awasthi took 3 wickets each for Mumbai team.

The Mumbai team continued to play and won by scoring 146 runs for 7 wickets in 19.3 overs. Shreyas Iyer scored 34 runs.

Sarpras Khan remained unbeaten on 36 runs. With this, the Mumbai team won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the first time.

Dhanush Kodian won the man of the match award.
