Islamabad: Pakistan’s parliament has approved a new bill that would categorize the masculinity of those convicted of multiple counts of sexual assault.

The bill aims to provide speedy sentencing and severe punishment for sexual offenses.

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of women and children being sexually abused in Pakistan. The new law comes amid calls from the public to stop it.

Consequently, the drug is injected into the offender’s body, after which he or she is disabled for the rest of his or her life.

According to media reports, the sentence is legal in countries including South Korea, the Czech Republic and some US states.

Critics say less than four percent of all sexual assault cases in Pakistan are perpetrated.
