Joe Biden calls Afghanistan ‘God-forsaken place’ a year after chaotic US exit ‘Afghanistan is a God-forsaken place’

Kabul,

The country fell to the Taliban after the US withdrew its forces from Afghanistan last year, which had been supporting the country’s military. A year has passed since the Taliban assumed power, and the people of that country are facing various problems like poverty and oppression.

In this situation, the President of the country, Joe Biden, who participated in the election campaign in San Diego, California, spoke about Afghanistan. Then he said, “Many of you have been to Afghanistan. I have been to every part of that country. It is a God-forsaken place. I repeat, Afghanistan is a God-forsaken place.”

This comment of Joe Biden has offended the people of Afghanistan. Especially the Taliban who are ruling the country are angry with Joe Biden’s speech.

Responding to his comments, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said, “He is speaking out of fear and desperation that his party may lose the upcoming congressional elections in the United States. And those who make such comments are doing so out of frustration and envy of Afghanistan. Since the Taliban came to power, peace and stability have returned to Afghanistan. And Afghanistan People go about their daily lives as normal,” he said.
