Vehicle inspection tightened in Kuwait; 47 people in custody traffic checking

Kuwait City: Traffic police has tightened vehicle inspection in Kuwait. 47 people were detained for driving without a license. All the 47 arrested are minors.

During the week’s traffic inspection, 30,426 traffic violations were found in six governorates. The security campaign was organized in collaboration with various departments of the Ministry of Home Affairs and other government departments.

84 vehicles and 15 motorcycles have been impounded during the security campaign. In a similar manner, the public security department also arrested many people who had overstayed their visas, officials said.

1,851 road accidents were reported in the last one week.
