Lahore:
Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan was shot by an unidentified assailant while taking part in an anti-government rally in Wazirabad, Punjab last Thursday. He was injured by a bullet in his right leg.
Injured in the firing, Imran Khan was admitted to his own hospital in Lahore. He underwent surgery there. He returned home from the hospital.
The government of Pakistan has imposed a restriction on all the media not to broadcast the news about Imran Khan.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan, speaking from Lahore, said that the rally will resume on Tuesday from the same place where I was shot.
In this case, the rally of Imran Khan’s party, which was supposed to resume from tomorrow, has been postponed again. Leaders of Imran Khan’s PTI party said that the rally will continue from next Thursday (10th).
