The incident of violence on the Ayalon highway: The police opened an investigation last night upon receiving a report of a violent incident in Tel Aviv between two drivers, a car driver and a scooter driver. During the night, the condition of the driver of the car worsened, he evacuated himself to the Ichilov Hospital, and is hospitalized in the intensive care unit suffering from skull fractures and intracerebral bleeding.
The hospital reported that “the injured person from last night’s accident in Ayalon is in moderately stable condition. He suffers from bruises and fractures and is under medical supervision. Meanwhile, from a preliminary investigation it became clear that the scooter driver, 37 years old from Tel Aviv, hit the victim of the vehicle several times with his helmet, following a dispute between the two over the use of the road. The police will ask the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court to extend his detention for additional days.
