China is building its own permanent space station in space. Soldiers are busy building a space station named ‘Tiangang’. China is building its own space station to compete with the US. China has announced that the space station will be built by the end of this year.

In this case, Chinese scientists are planning to carry out life science research in zero gravity at Tiangong station. For this, China plans to send monkeys to study reproduction in space.

The project is being spearheaded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. The institute will provide the scientific equipment and requirements for the project. Research on reproduction is expected to be carried out on the Wentian module, which was sent to Tiangong earlier this year.

1000 tests

Zhang Lu, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said, “Studies are also being conducted with mice. How they grow and reproduce in space will be studied. How do these experimental organisms evolve in space? “Learning how they grow in microgravity and other space environments will help improve our understanding.”

China is building 3 laboratory modules on its space station: Tianhe, Wentian and Mengtian. The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) has approved 1,000 experiments beyond Earth, ranging from medical research to technological studies. Tiangong Space Station is currently located 388.9 km above the Earth.

China has selected 9 international scientific experiments to be sent to Tiangong in the coming years. More than 40 applications have been received from various countries for this.
