In Port-Jérôme, at the mouth of the Seine, the French giant Air Liquide has installed its cryogenic CO capture solution2. He intends to make this industrial basin a showcase of his know-how in the field. At the other end of France, in Béziers, the start-up Genvia is working on new generation electrolysers. It is with this type of machine that it is possible to produce green hydrogen, one of the essential elements for decarbonizing transport, but also industry. Thus, downstream, ArcelorMittal intends to use hydrogen to manufacture steel without using coal. The steel group is investing several tens of millions of euros to create a demonstrator on its site in Dunkirk, in the North.
