Former US President Donald Trump, and the candidate on behalf of the Republicans for the presidential elections in 2024, said tonight (Wednesday) in a speech he gave to his supporters at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, that the night of the midterm elections “was a very emotional night”.

According to Trump, “The media was hoping for big losses, but it didn’t happen.” The former US president added that 224 of the 330 candidates he supported are expected to win the race for the House of Representatives and the Senate.
