TVS Motor’s net profit increased by 59 percent in the second quarter ended last September.
In this regard, the company’s regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange states:
In the second quarter of FY2022-23, the company posted a net profit of Rs 373 crore. The company had made a net profit of Rs 234 crore in the July-September period of the previous financial year.
Compared to that, the company’s net profit increased by 59 percent this time.
The operating revenue of the company during the assessment quarter was Rs. 6,483 crore from Rs. 8,561 crores.
The company’s overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including exports, rose 12 percent to 10.27 lakh in the September quarter. 9.17 lakh in the same period last fiscal, the document said.
