Macron and the red button

We will never have talked so much about a subject on which discretion and sobriety of language are nevertheless the golden rules: nuclear weapons. Putin and his Kremlin henchmen threaten every four mornings to use him against Ukraine or anyone who gets in their way. Nothing surprising, alas, on the part of a paranoid dictator who would make the rational masters of the defunct USSR regret: they played by the rules of the Cold War consisting precisely in not having to press the red button.
