THIRUVANANTHAPURAM> The crime branch has found that a group led by RSS activist Prakash, who was killed last January, set fire to Swami Sandeepanandagiri’s ashram at Kundamankadavu. Prashant’s brother gave a statement to the crime branch that Prakash had said that he was the one who set the ashram on fire.
Prashant’s statement is that Prashant was brutally beaten up by the RSS members on January 2, fearing that the incident of burning the ashram would be exposed, and Prashanth committed suicide at home out of frustration. Prashant also says that Prakash had injuries on his face and neck. It is reported that Prakash, who was the head teacher of Kundamanbhaga branch, was expelled by the RSS a few days before he was killed.
