Over the two months that followed, 730,000 employees received this “Macron bonus” for an average amount of more than 710 euros, said the ministry, underlining a positive dynamic.

In total, this tax-free and optional bonus for the employer has affected more than ten million employees, but the government also wishes to expand the other value-sharing mechanisms, in particular profit-sharing and profit-sharing mechanisms.

The social partners met on Tuesday to set a timetable for their negotiations on the subject in the midst of a debate on the question of remuneration. They have until the end of January to make proposals to the government.

The next few weeks “will remain difficult”, he warned, saying that the state, however, bore 55% of the cost of inflation compared to 40% for businesses and 5% for households.
