Apur, the Parisian urban planning workshop, has combed through the tops of Parisians’ heads. The association which documents, analyzes and imagines the urban and societal evolutions concerning Paris and its metropolis has meticulously observed the roofs of the capital. Emblematic of the urban landscape, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, they give their blue-gray color to the city. But what interest is there in splitting hairs to the point of providing information on 32.2 million m2 and 128,000 roofs? The interest is strategic.
