Bijoy Kannur (Udayaraj), who is well-known to Tamilians for the Tamil film Reel, is playing the lead role in the film ‘Vallicherup’. Bijoy has played the role of a 70-year-old through a makeover in the film. The heroine is Chinnusree Valsalan, a native of Kannur, who was accepted by the audience through Asianet Plus. Vallicherup is a journey through the different levels of a grandfather and grandson relationship.
Kochumakane is played by Master Fin Bejoy, who made his debut with ‘Kanavile Sultani’, which was directed by SR Shivarudran and was selected as the second best music video album of 2020. The director has created the moments in the film without diminishing the depth and breadth of family relationships. The shooting of the film has been completed in Thiruvananthapuram Vellayani and surrounding areas.
