T3 traffic was completely blocked at the exhibition center, Porte de Versailles this Friday afternoon. The reason ? A truck got stuck while trying to travel in the middle of the rails. According to several witnesses, the heavyweight wanted to dodge other semi-trailers, parked along the roadway, for deliveries in connection with one of the current fairs at the exhibition center. But the driver of the truck ended up completely stuck on the tracks, to the chagrin of motorists, who also found themselves stuck, this time on the road.
“The cars were completely stuck, it was the second truck of the morning which tried to free itself so that light vehicles could circulate” confirms a local resident. “It’s recurrent, as soon as there are big shows, it’s like that” adds the resident of the Porte de Versailles. Traffic was only able to resume once the truck was cleared using a tow truck, which towed the truck out of the tram lane.
On the other hand, the circulation of the latter could not resume until the lanes were cleaned around 5 p.m.
