And they are publishing this stolen information on the website. In particular, they are publishing lists of people who have received abortion treatment, those who have been treated for drug addiction, and those who have been treated for mental disorders.
The ‘Medibank’ company has released shocking information that a total of 97 lakh people’s details have been stolen, both those who have received treatment in the past and those who are currently receiving treatment. All the information including their name, address, phone number and the medical treatment they have taken has been stolen.
While this incident has caused a shock in Australia, Australia has accused Russia of being behind it. Australian Federal Police Commissioner Reese Kershaw said, “We know who did this. We believe that those responsible are in Russia.” He also said that they are investigating the matter with the help of Interpol.
