Chennai: It has been revealed that Chief Minister Stalin has ordered that ‘Ministers should come to the Chief Secretariat at least four days a week and look after the work’.

The Chief Minister conducts periodic review meetings with the departmental secretary and officers to monitor the full implementation of the announcements made by the Chief Minister and Ministers in the Assembly and to know about the progress of the projects.

However, the presence of the Chief Secretariat of Ministers is less. When the Chief Minister goes abroad, none of the ministers come to the Chief Secretariat.

As a result, there was an allegation that files were stagnating in ministerial offices and work was being delayed. Subsequently, the Ministers have come to the Chief Secretariat and started observing whether their departmental work is being carried out.

The Ministers have now started coming to the Chief Secretariat after getting information that the Chief Minister is monitoring their visit.
