Fraud on Twitter accounts – Action taken after investigation

Twitter has been undergoing a number of changes and moves since being brought under Tesla founder Elon Musk.

As part of this, the company has temporarily banned the Blue tick system used by users on the Twitter social network by paying 8 dollars per month.

Initially the payment was seen on a monthly subscription basis.

Fake Twitter account

The Blue tick was considered a key sign to follow trusted parties such as dignitaries, celebrities and journalists.

However, investigations revealed that many of those who paid the fees had fake Twitter accounts.

It has been announced by the company that the fee-based Blue Tick operation is temporarily suspended in the situation where the identity of such fake parties has increased.
