‘Plus After the films ‘Two’ and ‘Bobby’, the first look of the film ‘Kakipada’ written and directed by Shebi Chaughat has been released. The poster has been released through Mammootty’s social media accounts. As the name suggests, the first look is full of cops. Unlike the regular stories where the criminal is caught after the police investigation, this film tells the journey of the investigation from the criminal to the police.
Kakkipada is produced by Sheji Valiyakat under the banner of SV Productions and is presented entirely in a thriller mood. The film tells the story of eight armed police officers who have to travel with a suspect who is brought for evidence. “Kakipada” is a movie that tells about the mental condition of the policemen and the accused and their attitude towards the country and the crime that happened in a different way.
The film deals with a topic that is very relevant to current events. The crew of this film is in shock after knowing that the story is closely related to some news published during the post-production. Screenwriter and director Shebi commented that the film is a step above what actually happened. The film will be released with the tag line ‘Delay in Justice, is Injustice’.
Kakipada also stars Niranj Maniyan Pillai Raju, Appani Sarath, Chanthunath, Aaradhika, Sujith Shankar, Manikandan Achari, James Elya, Sajimon Parail, Vinod Sak (Rashasan fame), Sinoj Varghese, Kutty Akhil, Surya Anil, Pradeep, Shibulaban, Mala Parvathy and many more. New faces are also lining up.
