Despite being the grandson of Kalaiwanar, he got only a few opportunities in films and is currently directing serials on Sun TV.

Haris Aditya made his debut with the movie “Kummalam” and later acted in films like Thirtadathirudi, Syapakam, Malaiyaikood. Currently acting and directing serials, Haris Aditya is working in many popular TV serials like Subramanipuram, Yardi Nee Mohini, Kalyana Pauri, Priyamanavalu. Also working with famous actors and actresses such as Metti Oli Santi, Narasimha Raju, Ishwar Raghunathan, Gugan Shanmugam, Mona Pedra and many more.
It was in this context that he had given an interview to a popular magazine channel. In that interview, I started acting in films of my own accord, even though Kalaiwanar Datta was his name. After completing my medical studies, I looked for opportunities in cinema while working. Then there was an audition for Bala’s Nanda movie, which required students, and I participated in it. At that time I was by the side of the camera trying to somehow see the director Bala. Director Bala was observing this.
Later, in the movie Nanda, there were many preparations for the election in a party, then director Bala called me in the audience. Seeing this, all the people in the crowd were shocked that the director of the film had called. I went and asked Sukumar, a photographer, and asked him to take some photos. The other day I was cast in that movie in a pivotal role. After the completion of that film, I acted in the film “Kummalam” with four protagonists.

After this, I did not have to act in the role played by Karunas in Dhanush’s Tiru Thirudi. But I didn’t get a chance with that movie due to some reasons. After that, I acted in a movie called Malaikottai starring Vishal and that’s when my wife was pregnant. Later, while acting in movies, I also started acting in serials. In the first serial, I was bald and that serial got me a lot of acceptance among people. Many celebrities appreciated my performance then.
I didn’t even get a chance in cinema after this serial ended. At that time we performed well, we had no quarrel with anyone but I was shocked that we did not get a chance to act. I also called many people looking for opportunities and then just acted in some serials and life went on. After that, I acted in the serial “Thenmozhiyal” in director Balachandran’s company. Balachandran, who saw the success of that serial, called me and kissed me on the forehead. It was an unforgettable experience in my life.
Then I got an opportunity to shoot a film directed by director Naga. After that I acted in Subramani serial on Jaya TV then I got an opportunity to direct two serials on the same channel. After that we did a movie called “Subaramaniapuram” which was well received by the fans. Then I acted in serials like Angini Nakshatram 2 and Kalyana Pari 2. Then I got an opportunity to direct the serial “Thirumamal” but due to some reasons I left that serial. After this event, director and actor Haris Aditya shared many things about his screen career saying that he is directing a serial called “Thalatu” on SunTV.
