Sometimes we go out to shop in the market but forget to carry our debit or credit card. Withdrawal of money in such a situation is a big problem. That way you can use UPI service, cardless transactions etc. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has made many tasks easier than before. Apart from this, National Payments Corporation of India enables UPI and allows people to withdraw money from ATMs through UPI. Notably, the Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal facility allows people to withdraw money from ATMs even without a card.
The Reserve Bank of India has directed all banks, ATM network and white label ATM operators to provide Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) facility at all ATMs in the country. Accordingly, once this facility comes to all banks, customers will be able to withdraw money from ATMs without using debit or credit cards.

Follow these instructions
1. Visit an ATM machine. Find and select the ‘Refund’ option available on the screen there. After this select UPI option.
2. After this you will see the QR code on the ATM screen. Now open the UPI app on your smartphone and scan the QR code on the screen of the ATM machine.
3. Then enter your UPI PIN and click on ‘Hit Proceed’ button. This way, you can withdraw up to Rs 5,000 at a time. There is no extra charge for cardless withdrawals from ATMs through Bank UPI.
