After India’s shock exit from the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup, T20 cricket needs a change in head coach and captaincy, says former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Following India’s shock exit from the 2022 T20 World Cup, Harbhajan suggested that IPL 2022 title winners Hardik Pandya and Ashish Nehra should replace Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid as India’s T20 captain and coach respectively for Gujarat Titans. Speaking about this, Harbhajan said, “A person who has recently retired from T20 cricket can be brought in as a coach. As you know, I have respect for Rahul Dravid. I have played with him. He has a great brain.

However, dropping Dravid is too drastic, so maybe Nehra or someone else who has recently retired from T20 cricket who can help the team. Someone like Ashish Nehra has got a great cricketing brain. Everyone knows what he did at Gujarat Titans. Hardik Pandya is my choice for captaincy. He is the best player in the team and we need more people like him in the team.”
