KKR have acquired 2 players from defending champions Gujarat Titans through trade mode ahead of the mini auction for IPL 16th season.

The mini auction for the 16th season of IPL will be held in Kochi on December 23. As last season’s auction was held as a mega auction, this season’s auction will be held as a mini auction. So the IPL teams have been advised to submit the list of players they want to release by November 15.

Before that, players can be exchanged between teams through player trading. Mumbai Indians and CSK have released their release lists.

The first trading of the season took place between Mumbai Indians and RCB. Mumbai Indians bought Australian fast bowler Jason Behrendorff from RCB.

The next trade is between Gujarat Titans and KKR. KKR have also bought New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson and Afghanistan wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz from defending champions Gujarat Titans.

KKR had a reserve of Rs 45 lakh. And in this auction, each team has been given an additional Rs.5 crore. In this case, KKR bought New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson who had already played for their team from Gujarat. Last season, he took 12 wickets in 13 matches for Gujarat Titans who won the trophy.

Another player that KKR has acquired is Afghan wicketkeeper-batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Gurbaz, who was picked as a replacement for Jason Roy in the Gujarat team last season, did not play a single match. In this case, he was also bought by the KKR team.
