Social mix: in college, students from wealthy families mix less and less

Where are the children of the most affluent classes educated? The “social position indicators” (IPS) unveiled for the first time by the Ministry of National Education make it possible to answer this question. And it appears that private institutions take the lion’s share, especially in large French cities. Of the 100 most favored colleges in France, only 18 are public.
