“Love is in the meadow”: left by Laurence, Jean “didn’t expect it”

by time news

You have to face the facts, even if the reality is hard to face. This seventeenth season of “Love is in the meadow” will only see the birth in front of the cameras of three couples who hold up to the balance sheet: those of the two Guillaumes and Alexandre. The second part of this epilogue broadcast this Monday, November 14, begins with Jean, the star of the season.

This sexagenarian, who had had his teeth redone for the occasion, was living “his best life” with Laurence, the nice town hall employee. Both of them had taken the plane to Rome for the first time, for a getaway that was both naughty and gustatory (they had devoured ice cream the whole stay). The cameras had left them in deep trouble. And yet.

“I took more than a week to recover from it”

“I came alone, because Laurence left me and I did not expect it, it was not easy, he confesses to Karine Le Marchand, disappointed and sad to see him solo. She hadn’t realized the distance and that she was going to miss her daughter so much. I took more than a week to get over it, I did not want to come to the balance sheet. But I’m here to celebrate 2022, the year when I made the most discoveries in my life, like Paris or the TGV…” Fortunately, during this last meeting, Jean left with a letter from a fourth contender he has since recontacted off camera.

Alexandre, he had more luck with “his little bird” Breton Annaïg with which he flew to the island of Santorini in Greece. At first reserved, the 27-year-old young woman knew, over the course of the adventure, to trust her crush. “At first, his shyness bothered me, but then I did my best, recalls the fan of electro listened to the bottom in his tractor. Since opening the mail, I felt obvious, it was her. We have a lot in common. It’s generally going very well. And we experienced the same thing, we don’t worry about anything anymore. »

The future ? Annaïg will move in with him… To mark the occasion, Alexandre even symbolically offered him a bunch of keys. “You are a beautiful little couple”, concludes Karine Le Marchand pouring a… teardrop.

“It’s incredible, I never thought I would one day experience this in my life”

Finally, the evening was marked by the crazy story of Nadège, this bubbly thirty-something, horse inseminator. The cameras had left her alone after having greeted these two suitors for whom she had not had the click. Yet “Love is in the meadow” allowed him to find a soul mate. “We had a weekend between candidates at Guillaume du Limousin with Noémie, Alain, she says. I met Pierre, Guillaume’s best friend, and we never left each other. It was love at first sight. It’s incredible, I never thought I would one day experience this in my life. »

The chosen one is “commercial director with ambition”. “He ticks all the boxes. And I’m going to move to his place, I want to start my family, I want to put my career aside, she continues. I’m sure of myself, it’s him, he’s the man of my life… Pierre is an accordionist, it’s really a plus because I was born into it. “Ah, there you have to be born in it to understand”, chuckles Karine Le Marchand, after having regretted the absence of the elected official on the balance sheet (“It’s really stupid that he didn’t come, he’s relou”) . “I have been living in the world of care bears since,” concludes Nadège, stars in her eyes.

Noémie, meanwhile, has still not met the rare pearl but says she is “more attracted to what suits me”. At 25, she has her life ahead of her. In tears, she adds: “even if the outcome is not what I wanted, the experience of the show brought me a lot”.
