District level sports competitions were held at Dharmapuri Vijay Vidyalaya Boys Matric Higher Secondary School on 28th and 29th of last month. Government and private school students participated in these competitions from 5 localities in the district. In this, Mangarai Government School near Bennagaram participated in the sports competitions held under the categories of upper seniors, seniors and juniors, two teams in the upper seniors and juniors categories in the volleyball competition, two teams in the sprint (300m, 1500m) and two teams in the pole vault competition. , four people in the cycle competition, six people in the Chilambum competition and two people in the swimming competition have qualified for the state level competitions. The students who won the competitions are going to participate in the state level sports competitions to be held in Namakkal, Chengalpattu, Thiruvannamalai, Ariyalur, Kanchipuram etc. 32 students of Mangarai Government Higher Secondary School participated in the district level competition and received medals and more than 150 certificates.
