Drama in Hapoel Tel Aviv. During training this evening (Wednesday), a drug test was conducted for three of Danny Franco’s senior players – Jacob Brown, Tomer Ginat and Idan Zalmanson. The inspection was sudden and unusual for the Israeli Premier League.
Officials at Hapoel Tel-Af initially thought that Maccabi Tel-Af had a hand in the matter, since the team did not train as usual at the home stadium, but after an inspection, other officials at the club denied the accusations against the city rival.
As a reminder, the Reds will be hosted at the Menorah Mitvatim Hall this coming Sunday, when in the background of the ticket storm in which the Yellows initially refused to admit a guest audience and finally compromised, and although they received a reduced number of tickets at the beginning, the Red club received 100 more tickets and their sale will open tomorrow.
