Saints Row developer Volition has been transferred to The Gearbox Entertainment Company.
Embracer Group, the parent company of several game developers, has announced that it has moved Saints Row development team Volition to Borderlands developer Gearbox Software.
Going forward, Volition will transition into being part of the Gearbox team with experienced tools, resources, and management teams. To build on the future success of Volition, this is the first internal group migration. And it may not be the last time.
Embracer Group also stated that the latest Saints Row game was released in August. not as expected and caused some of the game’s fan base to split apart But on the financial side, doing this is meeting the expectations of the management team this quarter.
