Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi and Union Minister of State L Murugan flagged off the Rameswaram to Varanasi (Kashi) train from Egmore Railway Station for the convenience of the public leaving from Tamil Nadu to participate in the Kashi Tamil Sangam. 13 special trains will be run from Tamil Nadu to Kashi to participate in Kashi Tamil Sangam. Around 2,592 people will travel in these special trains. IIT Chennai and Banaras Hindu University jointly organize the Kashi Tamil Sangam. Yesterday, the first day, there were 216 people in the group going by train to Varanasi. Later, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi said: People of Tamilnadu should go to Kashi, people coming from Kashi should come here. That is Bharat. Everyone should be together. That is Bharat. Many people who row in Kashi speak better Tamil than me. He said that the culture between the two towns would be related.
