The head of the FBI, Christopher Wray, expressed concern about the unauthorized “police stations” that have been established in the United States, at the initiative of the Chinese government. According to a human rights organization operating in Europe, the stations are used as an extension of the Chinese to exert pressure on Chinese citizens who oppose the government, with their main goal being to make them return to China, where they face criminal charges. Ray said the words at a hearing of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
