The epidemic curve in Italy is growing. There are 208,346 new cases of positivity at Covid registered in Italy in the last seven days, against 181,181 last week, an increase of 15%. While there are 533 victims in the same period of time (549 the figure of the previous week), 180,518 in total. what emerges from the data of the weekly bulletin of the Ministry of Health published today. Hospitalizations are also starting to rise: intensive care units are 44 more (last week -35) for a total of 247, while ordinary hospitalizations go up by 625 units (seven days ago -248), 6,081 in all. The number of current positives is also increasing, 41,341 more (last week -6,557) which thus rises to 452,895, of which 445,667 in home isolation.

Furthermore, in seven days, 1,193,523 swabs were performed with a variation of + 2.9% compared to the previous week (1,159,602). The positivity rate is growing, to 17.5% with a variation of +1.9% compared to the previous week (15.6%).
