3 thousand 687 candidates wrote the Group-1 primary examination held at 22 centers in Theni district.

Group-1 Exam

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group-1 Primary Examination was conducted today across Tamil Nadu. The examination was conducted in 22 centers in Theni district. 6 thousand 70 people were given hall tickets to write this exam. The examination started at 9.30 am and lasted till 12.30 pm.

Candidates started coming to the examination centers from 7 am for this. Those who come to the examination centers after 9 am are not allowed to write the examination. So they were sent back. Some broke down in tears at the entrance gate of the examination center as they were not allowed due to their lateness.

Collector inspection

22 Principal Invigilators and 305 Room Invigilators were involved in this exam monitoring. 3 flying squads were formed and conducted surprise raids at examination centres. The examination procedures were recorded on video cameras.

A total of 3 thousand 687 people wrote this exam. 2 thousand 383 of those who were allowed to appear for the examination did not appear for the examination. District Collector Muralitharan and officials inspected the examination centers set up in Veerabandi and Muthudevanpatti areas.
