In this case, heavy vehicles like bikes, cars, autos and trucks and buses were plying this way as usual yesterday morning. Then, suddenly the road caved in and created a giant pothole. The passing motorists were shocked to see this. Fortunately, no one was involved in the accident.
The informed municipal officials rushed to the spot. Later, they set up barricades to prevent vehicles from entering the area. As a result, school and college students and those going to work were put in a lot of trouble. They had to travel long distances. According to the public, “It seems that the ditch dug for Chennai drinking water works was not closed properly and the road was constructed and a giant ditch was formed. This is because the contractors did not seal the ditches properly. Therefore, the municipal authorities should take appropriate measures to repair the sudden pothole on the road immediately.
