Kuwait City: A young man was arrested for growing cannabis plants at his residence in Kuwait. He was caught in a raid conducted by the Anti-Drug Trafficking General Department of the country. 100 g of ganja, 50 g of ganja oil, ganja plant seeds and nine ganja plants of various sizes were seized.
The young man’s cannabis cultivation at his residence was done with elaborate setups to adjust the heat and light for the cannabis plants to grow. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior released the video footage of them through social media. During the interrogation, the young man admitted that he was cultivating cannabis for sale. He was handed over to the concerned departments for further action.

Those who drive trucks weighing more than 3500 kg must have a professional driver’s card as notified by the General Transport Authority. Officials said that the new Professional Drivers Card aims to improve the quality of services and increase the professional efficiency of the freight transport systems. The provision applies equally to individuals and organizations carrying goods for business purposes or private purposes.
