After the ticketing company Ticketmaster was unable to control the situation and even had to postpone the normal sale, Taylor Swift was quick to express her disappointment and made it clear to her fans that she was assured by the company that they would be able to handle all the rush she expected. So it turns out that the huge influx was completely expected and there was no surprise here.

But, it turns out that this is really not a surprising case when it comes to huge concerts in the US and especially when it is related to Ticketmaster. The case of Swift brought to light other cases that are not only related to a technical failure but also (and mainly) to ticket prices that change according to the extent of demand at a certain point in the sale ( (as happened with tickets to a Bruce Springsteen concert) Now it turns out that the issue has attracted the attention of the US judicial system which plans to investigate the company.
