David Broza sings Leonard Cohen, and this time: “Dance Me To The End Of Love”. Last September Broza released Marianne Long So, the lead song from a collection of three songs under the title: COHEN LEONARD SINGS BROZA DAVID, on the occasion of his 88th birthday by Leonard Cohen.
In October, the second song was released – “The famous blue raincoat”, and today (Monday) the last song in the series is released. Leonard had a profound impact on the music world, and Bruzza has been compared to him many times throughout his career. Leonard Cohen’s songs have received countless arrangements and versions, but without a doubt – David Broza is the artist requested to be the one who sings a renewed performance of his works.
Broza talks about the reworking and his version of the song, and says: “I took this Mediterranean ballad, and created a version that would sound like an Argentine tango. The song took me to a very romantic depth.”
