Nocturnal noise in Paris: he takes out his chief of staff card in a ministry to impress the police

by time news

“The noise of the party could be heard as far as Matignon! “The residents of this chic and rather “political” district, lined with ministries and embassies, were annoyed. On the night of Saturday to Sunday, the nocturnal noise of a techno evening in a private mansion located rue de Varennes, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, a few meters from the residence of the Prime Ministers, did not go unnoticed. This Monday, the police station of the VIIth transmitted the report to the officer of the public prosecutor’s office at the police court.

The facts took place on the night of Saturday to Sunday, at 11:50 p.m. The police are then called for the first time to intervene on a “significant uproar” in a beautiful apartment on the ground floor of a mansion. “Moldings, chandeliers, woodwork… Very 18th century”, describes a witness.

The apartment, which belongs to a wealthy American, regularly hosts “heart-pounding techno parties”, laments a neighbor. There, the police discovered through the windows a few hundred revelers, “well dressed, evening dresses, bow tie tuxedos”, who set the dancefloor on fire. At the door, a security guard, without a work contract, is responsible for filtering this beautiful world.

“I didn’t have an identity card on me”

The peacekeepers knock on the door, in vain. Guests close the curtains. The guardian laments these “recurring” facts, which neighbors denounce “often and in vain”.

After about ten minutes, a 25-year-old partygoer introduces himself and pulls out a ministerial card crossed out with the red-white-blue flag: chief of staff within the Ministry of Education. The card is no longer valid since last May. “I did not have an identity card on me”, defends the person concerned, contacted on Monday. No phone number either. ” It’s private “.

The police then give him a warning, tell him to stop the party and turn on his heels. An hour later, the neighbors call the police. The police then take out the ticket book: 68 euros.

This Monday, the former chief of staff denied being the organizer of the evening. “I went there because no one wanted to go out.” He recognizes all the same: “I should not have taken out my ministerial card. It was bullshit. “A guest deciphers:” He hoped it would be more official. “I have never tried to intimidate the police”, insists the young politician, who assures that “the fine will be regularized”.
