Maruti Suzuki dominates the CNG car market in India. Maruti Suzuki sells CNG versions of its various cars. Maruti Suzuki cars can never be beaten when it comes to mileage. To that extent, whether it is a petrol version or a CNG version, its mileage will continue to attract the attention of customers. Following this, Maruti Suzuki has launched an updated version of its brand’s most popular budget model, the Eco.
Maruti is offering this Eco model for sale in a total of 13 variants like 5 seater option, 7 seater option, Cargo, Tour and Ambulance. Apart from that, this car is offered for sale in both petrol and CNG options.

Following this, a few updates have been made and released in this model. The main highlight of this update is that it has been updated to deliver more mileage than the previous models.
As for the interior, it also gets an all-new digital instrument cluster, steering wheel, rotary controls, AC and heater that are updated over the previous model. Along with this, the car also gets safety features such as engine immobilizer, illuminated hazard switch, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, child lock system and reverse parking sensors.

Apart from this, some changes have been made in its mechanical aspects as well. That is, a 1.2 liter dual jet petrol motor is used in this Eco car. The same motor is used by Maruti Suzuki in famous car models like Dzire, Swift, Balino.
When running on petrol this motor churns out 80.76 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 104.4 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm. It churns out 71.65 PS of power and 95 Nm of torque when running on CNG. Maruti has confirmed that the petrol powered Maruti Eco will deliver a mileage of 20.20 kmpl and the CNG powered Eco will deliver a mileage of 27.05 kmpl.

This updated model costs Rs. 5.10 lakh (ex-showroom) price is fixed.
