London: Four more adjectives to the set of milli, centi, kilo… Rhona, kwetta, ronto, kwato are placed in front of measurements like meter and litre. Rona meter, Quata meter, Ronawatts, Rona litres, etc. Ronto and kwato are used for small numbers and Rona and kwta are used for large numbers.
A Rona meter means there are 27 zeros after the digit 1. Also spelled billion billion billion. A quotient means a 1 followed by 30 zeros. It is estimated that the new system will be useful for providing the figures. For example, the mass of the planet Jupiter can easily be said to be two quatagrams.
Ronto is used for small numbers. The number after 26 zeros after the decimal represents ronto (0.000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 001). If it is past 29 zeros then it will be kveto.
The decision was taken at the 27th General Conference of Weights and Measures held in Paris. Dr. National Physical Laboratory. Richard Brown suggested the new names.
He said that this is the time for new calculations in the world.
This is the first change since 1991 in the International System of Units (SI). Seta and Yota were joined then. Yota has 24 zeros after 1. Zeta has 21 zeros.
