Construction of separate offices for all the MPs called ‘MP Chambers’ with modern facilities has started in the newly constructed Parli campus.

In New Delhi, Parli, which includes all the power centers, and its surrounding areas is being renovated and built with modern facilities under the name ‘Central Vista Project’.

Rajpath, where the Republic Day Parade takes place, has been upgraded and renamed as ‘Katamai Path’. In the ‘India Gate’ area, which was a war memorial, a new war memorial complex has been constructed, where a statue of freedom struggle leader Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose has been placed.

As part of the project, the construction of the new Barley building could not be completed within the stipulated time frame, the Winter Session will be held in the old building.

The central government has taken up the project of building separate offices for MPs along with projects including Prime Minister’s house and office, Vice President’s house and office.

The project to be launched under the name of MP’s Chambers has been fixed at Rs 1,435 crore. For this, the contract seekers have been told to send the relevant information by the 10th of the next month.

Both the existing Transport Bhavan and Shram Shakti Bhavan will be demolished for construction of MP’s Chambers. It seems that PTI head office building operating under the same survey number will also be demolished.

Sources in the central government said that the selection of alternative places for thousands of employees and officials working here is underway.

The ‘underground’ MPs’ chambers will be built in three blocks in total. It will be spread over an area of ​​one lakh 18 thousand square feet. In this complex, two buildings of 10 floors and one building of 2 floors will be constructed. For this, all the routes are to be laid underground.
