ABU DHABI: Grocery and fresh products from Lulu Hypermarket will now be available through Amazon. The agreement regarding this was signed by Lulu Group Chairman M.A. in the presence of Abu Dhabi Economic Department Chairman Muhammad Ali Al Shorafa. Yousafali and Amazon Middle East Vice President Ronaldo Mochavar signed the agreement. Although the first phase is being implemented in the UAE, the second phase aims to expand such cooperation to other GCC countries and Egypt.
In the first phase, the distribution network will be available in Dubai Marina, Barsha, Palm Jumeirah and Arabian Ranches. It will later be extended to all cities in the UAE. Private-joint ventures in the UAE Mohammed Ali Shorafah, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance, said that it will further strengthen the commercial sector. He also congratulated Amazon and Lulu Group for providing excellent customer service through this innovative initiative.
