Kuwait City: A public holiday has been announced for government employees in Kuwait on the occasion of New Year. The holiday was announced on January 1. Including weekend days like Friday and Saturday, government employees will get three consecutive days off. Offices will be open on January 2 after the holiday.

At the same time, a three-day holiday has been announced for the private sector in the UAE on the occasion of National Day and Remembrance Day. The Ministry of Human Resources and Indigenization announced that the private institutions of the country will be closed from Thursday, December 1 to Saturday, December 3. A three-day holiday has already been announced for the public sector in the country.
Similar to the public sector institutions, some private institutions in the UAE also have Sunday as their weekend holiday. Those working in such establishments get four days leave including weekend leave. In a statement issued by the official news agency, it was said that after the holiday, the work of public sector institutions and offices will resume on December 5. Remembrance Day is observed in the UAE on November 30 every year to commemorate the sacrifices of those who sacrificed their lives for the country. But the holiday from December 1st to 3rd is given along with the National Day holiday and Remembrance Day holiday.

Kuwait has started accepting applications for family visas for children
Kuwait City: Applications are now being accepted for family visas for residents of Kuwait with accompanying children. Applications are accepted by the Immigration and Passports Affairs Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Children below five years of age are currently given the opportunity. Applications will be accepted after ensuring that all conditions for obtaining visa for children are met.
