Following the shocking murder that happened last night (Wednesday) at a crossing, during which Yuri Volko was stabbed in the heart and later died of his injuries. The police continued an investigative and intelligence operation of the central unit of the Tel Aviv District. A detective team arrived at a house on Yotbata Street in Holon and after preparing for several hours, they identified two suspects leaving the house on scooters.
A detective team arrested them, and at the same time another team entered the house to make an arrest. While arresting the 22-year-old suspect, a resident of the city, a dog of a dangerous breed emerged at the detectives, biting two of them and injuring them slightly and moderately.
The detectives fired at the dog, wounded it and neutralized it. As a result of the shooting, the leg of a girl who was staying with the suspect was scratched. Both detectives were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
