Givati fighters were recorded today (Friday) attacking left-wing activists in Hebron, beating them violently. In the videos distributed on social networks, the soldiers were heard threatening the activists and also mentioning the name of the designated minister Itamar Ben Gabir.

In one of the videos, a soldier is seen hitting one of the activists in the face and knocking him to the floor, and in another video another fighter is heard threatening the activists who arrived in Hebron. “I don’t like leftists, I will break your form” the soldier threatened. “Ben Gvir is going to put order in this place. No, you ate her. I determine what the law is, and you are acting against the law.”

The organization “Breaking the Silence” claimed that “a group of left-wing people (some of them religious and ultra-Orthodox) went to Hebron for a solidarity visit with Palestinian families after the recent violence, and experienced physical and verbal violence from the soldiers in the field.” According to them, “the effects of Ben Gvir’s upcoming appointment are already being seen on the ground.”
